Performance Displaced

Sounds at The Art Institute of Chicago and at a fenced off lot in Chicago’s West Loop, an area undergoing gentrification, were recorded. The soundwaves were painted on two identical puzzles and the pieces of both were numbered. During the performance, pieces of the puzzles were switched.
